Football season may now be over and the Spanish celebrations are only just beginning to die down. But in the kitchen, things are beginning to liven up with traditional Spanish food.

Spanish food is reflects the geography, culture and climate in particular the sea.  So we have pulled together some of our favourite Spanish dishes so that you might share and live outdoors.

Spanish starters are practically a meal on there own.  Tapas comes in all shapes and sizes, from calamari to fried artichokes, marinated mushrooms or chick pea salad.

Now I love paella.  This recipe has all the ingredients that really makes my taste buds tingle.  The recipe, care of Mr Worrall Thompson can be found on the BBC website.
