The Italian company guzzini was established in 1912 by Fratelli Guzzini based on hand crafted products made from ox horn.

In the late 1930s the company expanded rapidly through its success in the use of plastics at a time when most household items were made of wood, glass or iron.

Today guzzini employs some of the best names in international design to produce everyday items, such as salad bowls and salad spinners that are more refined with much attention to style, quality and functionality.

The history of guzzini is rooted in plastics, but more recently it has been possible to combine these with other materials such as glass, porcelain and steel all of which are of the highest quality making the products - very user friendly - strong enough to stand up to the knocks of everyday use.
