1::How can I order?
A::You can order from us in any one of five ways.
  • 1) On this website using the online shopping basket and a secure server to take your
    credit card details.
  • 2) By telephone if you prefer to speak to someone in person. Please telephone ON THE
    TABLE 01305 257258 between 9.30 and 5.30 Monday to Saturday.
  • 3) By Fax on 01305 257258, don't forget to include a phone number so we can speak to
    you about payment.
  • 4) By e-mail shop@onthetable.co.uk
  • 5) By visiting our shop in Dorchester - we'd love to see you!

2::How do I purchase a product online?
This is a very simple process.
  • 1) Choose the product you wish to purchase.
  • 2) Select your choice of colour or size.
  • 3) Enter the quantity you require in the quantity box.
  • 4) Click "Add" to put it in your basket.
You may then click on "continue shopping", to add other items in the same way to your shopping basket. Once you have completed your choice follow the step by step instructions to make your secure payment. You will be contacted by email and kept informed of the progress of your order.

3::Will my online payment be secure?
Yes. The checkout process is performed by our secure server which will encrypt all your input making it impossible for the information to be intercepted by others.Credit card transactions are performed by Protx who are a secure e-commerce provider. After selecting your goods you will be transferred to a secure page to enter your credit card details which will then be validated by Protx. Once completed you will be returned to our website to complete your order. We do not hold your credit card details on the ON THE TABLE website, nor are they visible to us.

4::How long will my order take?
We aim to hold most of the items displayed in stock, and dispatch them as quickly as possible on receipt of your order. Please allow up to 7 working days for your goods to arrive, before contacting us. However, there will occasionally be delays when a product proves to be very popular. In this case we will contact you to give an estimate of delivery time.

5::How much do you charge for packing and delivery?
We charge a flat rate of £4.00 per order for standard delivery (3-5 day) to all areas within mainland UK. Orders are usually despatched within 24 hours. This charge is waived if the total order value exceeds £100. You may also choose the Special Next Day Delivery (order received by us by 12 noon). The charge will be shown on your shopping basket.

6::Can I order from outside the UK?
At present no - but if you particularly want something please contact us and we will see if can help.

7::What happens if my items are broken or faulty?
We hope they will not be! But in the unlikely event that you do have a problem, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or e-mail and we will sort out a replacement.

8::What if I need to return any items?
If for any reason your purchase does not fulfil your expectation please contact us and then return them to us in a saleable condition in their original packaging within 14 days and we will refund your money. For your own safety it would be a good idea to get a certificate of posting.

9::Do the prices include VAT?
Yes. All the prices are in UK pounds sterling and include UK Vat at 17.5%.

10::Is what you have on your web site all you stock?
No. The range of goods in the shop is far more extensive. So if there is a particular item you want from one of the brands we stock, please contact us we may be able to help.

A::By subscribing to our Newsletter ON THE TABLE TIMES you will be kept informed of new products and offers, special discounts, and competitions. Our newsletter will appear from time to time with information on designers, design topics and trends, as well as letting you know how we are all getting on at ON THE TABLE.
